Fair Lady

This photo consist of  a beautiful scarlet who is standing slightly off center & who is posed in a still manner. Also in this photo there stands a leafy tree which is shown in the opposing section when compared to the model. Once the vision falls away from both the girl & the tree the light trail beginning at the side of our beauty captures the focus and brings the eye to the far left end. While shooting this image the wanted focus was to emphasize the contrast of her skin when compared to her shirt although this being my focus, during the time of printing, the wanted focus switched to emphasizing the texture & the contrast of the leaves of the bustling tree beginning in the center & ending on the left making it an figurative photo rather than an abstract one. This photo possess many gray mixtures as well as some solid tones such as black shown from her shirt & whites from her skin. The line placement of the trail leading to the up forth portion of this photo drastically changes the composition of both the girl & the tree fore it helps lead the eye even though Casey holds the focus when the first look is made. In the effort of fully creating this photo to its entirety i planned on communicating  a certain emotion, anger. I asked the model not to smile & to fill her eyes with disapproval. Her surroundings relatively have nothing to do with the wanted emotion but the sense of winded air brings somewhat of an intensity to the communicated feeling. I find no difficulties in judging this piece fore this photo is my own & goes beyond what expectations I had for it.  I was very pleased with the contrast of shades presented in this photo. As for the placement of the girl, I now see that perhaps a sense of movement would of helped to make the picture more pleasurable to gaze at. & for its entirety the photo of the fair lady was successful due to the contrast and the overall sense of emotions brought through.
